Blitzkrieg.
Blitzkrieg.
The Germans are coming, hide your fiddle waists.
So this is part two of the previous post on the jacket we are making. Its a navy blue flannel from Fox Flannels. Its a 3 roll 2 button configuration, patch hip pockets, welt chest. The client wants a “comfortable” jacket, not slim or tight. Although the fabric is heavy (14-16oz), the jacket feels light due to the very soft canvassing. For the shoulders, we are doing a natural one with a bit of wadding. The lapels will have a very nice roll and the chest pocket has some shape to it as I dislike the straight as a ruler chest pockets. Next up, client will receive the jacket, try it on, and we’ll make note of any alterations that may need to be done.
FALL/WINTER TIES
Working on this for a customer, as we go through the construction process I’ll post update and fit pics
Its seemed like an eternity but finally completing some winter ties
On the workbench and coming soon…………..
So this is our second delivered coat from our custom program. Our default silhouette, wide lapels with a medium high gorge, natural shoulders/lightly padded sleeve head. Not as short a length as is popular and the coat fronts are open but not too opened. Jacket canvassing is very light and jacket is quarter lined.
Fall/Winter is coming and I am so excited about the fabrics that we have coming for pants, shirts and the great ties that we are making. I love wool and cashmere ties, wear them all year. So elegant, different from what everyone else is wearing and so luxurious looking.
